Privacy Policy

EOS Transform Inc (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy covers the TRANSFORM Speaking Academy member site at https://members.thetribe.rocks (the “Member Site”), where students sign in, watch the course and manage their account. It applies to information we collect on the Member Site and in the emails the Member Site sends you. Our other websites, including https://thetribe.rocks, have their own privacy policy.

By creating an account, buying the course or using the Member Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Member Site.

We handle personal information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Age

TRANSFORM Speaking Academy is for adults aged 18 and over (see our Terms of Participation). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you believe we hold information about someone under 18, please contact us at alain@thetribe.rocks.

Types of Information We Collect About You

Information you give us. Your name and email address when you buy the course or create your account, and anything you send us by email, including evidence you send for a guarantee request under section 4 of our Terms of Participation.

Purchase information. What you bought, your payment plan, and the amounts and dates of your payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure checkout page, and we never see or store your full card number.

Course activity. Which lessons you open and complete, and when.

Sign-in and technical information. When you sign in, and technical details such as your IP address, browser type and device, which our hosting and sign-in providers record to keep accounts secure and the site running.

Cookies

The Member Site uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels (including the Meta pixel), or analytics software, and it does not let advertisers or other third parties place cookies to track you.

Why We Collect Information and How We Use It

We use your information to:

• Create your account, give you access to the course and remember your progress
• Email you sign-in links, your welcome email, and messages about your account or purchase
• Process payments, payment plans, refunds and guarantee requests
• Answer your questions and support you
• Understand which lessons students complete, so we can improve the course
• Keep the Member Site secure, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We only ask for the information we reasonably need to provide the course. We will not require you to consent to any unnecessary processing as a condition of buying it.

Email Information & Policies

The Member Site only sends emails you need: sign-in links, your welcome email, and messages about your account or purchase. It does not add you to a newsletter or send promotional email. If you email us, we may keep your message, your email address and our reply.

We are committed to keeping your email address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease your email address to third parties.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information.

We share it only with the service providers that run the Member Site, and only what each needs to do its job:

• Supabase: accounts, sign-in and the course database, stored in Canada
• Vercel: hosts the Member Site
• Stripe: payment processing
• Resend: sends the Member Site’s emails
• Bunny.net: streams the lesson videos

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

We may also disclose your personal information:

• To a lawyer, our payment processor, or a collection agency, to enforce our Terms of Participation or any other agreement between you and the Company
• To a successor in interest in the event of a merger, restructuring, or sale of some or all of the Company’s business
• When we believe in good faith that the law requires it, to protect our legal rights, or when compelled by a court or other governmental authority

How We Protect Your Information

We use commercially reasonable methods to protect your information. The Member Site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each student can see only their own account and progress. Only the Company and the people who help run TRANSFORM Speaking Academy can see student records, and only to support students and run the course.

Email is not a secure way to communicate. Please do not send sensitive information to us by email. If you do, it is at your own risk. Card details are never sent by email.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your account and course progress for as long as you have an account. Payment records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires, generally six years. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information except what we must keep by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Correct any mistakes in it
• Ask us to delete it
• Withdraw your consent to our use of it, keeping in mind that we need some of it to give you the course, so withdrawing consent may mean closing your account

You can change your name yourself on your Account page. For anything else, email alain@thetribe.rocks. We will respond within 30 days, as PIPA requires.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at https://www.oipc.bc.ca.

“Do Not Track” Requests

The Member Site does not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to turn off.

Policy Changes

We will post any changes to this Privacy Policy on this page and update the date at the bottom. If we make material changes to how we treat your personal information, we will also email the address on your account.
